Thrifty Finds for the Patio and Pyrex Love

Sorry it has been kinda slow going on the blog lately.

We are hosting a wonderful French teen and her and I have been busy. She likes to go to thrift stores! How awesome is that? She comes from a little town outside of Paris.

Since I did not have much to throw at you this time, I thought I would just share some shots of our thrifty furnished patio:

Here is our consignment store table and chairs w/ vintage umbrella:

Here is a closeup of the chair cushions, which I picked up at Wal-Mart on clearance. They pull all the colors of the patio together!

Here are my $10 motel chairs, picked up last year at an estate sale. They are now sporting their new aqua paint color.  The green hairpin leg table was another great find for $16.

Here are some thrift store flower pots I grabbed for $1 each. I love the colors with the lipstick red table set:

Here are some big flower pots on either side of the garage door:

Oh, and I almost forgot:

I have a new addiction. Vintage Pyrex. And Fire King. And GlasBake. I am especially drawn to anything aqua, green or white. I had NO IDEA there were so many cool patterns made back in the day. Like these:

Here is a glimpse into just one cabinet. I remind you: 2 people live here.

Like how many casseroles, baking dishes, plates and bowls can I use? And this is not even my cake and loaf pans, pie plates and larger baking dishes!

What I don’t keep is listed in my Etsy shop :-)

Check back soon for more thrifting photos and some updates on our basement redo.

Hope you are having a great summer.
